The Travelling Assistant was established during the 2020/21 pandemic when working remotely became the norm for so many office workers. Businesses were forced to consider new ways of working, and some were closer than others to the concept of ‘home’ working. Many kept the same working schedules that did not always suit those already being challenged by the crisis, and individuals were impacted by the lack of flexibility or by the perceived pressure to deliver within a standard remit. Administration became a valuable tool in the quest to keep businesses still operating during unprecedented times and in unfamiliar circumstances for both employers and employees.
Meet the team at The Travelling Assistant

Marilyn set up The Travelling Assistant in June 2021. She has considerable experience in providing executive and team-based administrative support to corporate organisations, primarily within the pharmaceutical industry and clinical research.
